Ya gotta love cereal box toys!!! The only problem that we have is that IF the unthinkable happens and a toy gets lost it IS THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT!!!!! I should have bought stock in Kellogg's and General Mills! Dang it! |

The boys and I did a day out together. We had a lot of fun. We went on a picnic in Concord, tried to see if Pixieland was open, but only on the weekends right now. But we did picnic by the little pond and got to feed the ducks, geese, and sea gulls. Afterwards went over to Golf N Games for a round of miniature golf. We topped off the day with a showing of Curious George. They are only little for such a short time... I just don't want to miss a thing!!! One of our intruders at the pond. |

All the second grade teachers have the parents come down to the school the night before the students have their Valentine Party. Each parent decorates their own child's desk with gifts, candy, and messages. Then the following morning the students are surprised to see what their parents how said or left on their desk. It was a lot of fun to get creative and knowing how the parents are at my school I of course had to go ALL OUT!! Keeping up with the Jones! :) It is hard to see because the picture is so small, but even Caden drew a picture for Carter. I got another teacher to cover my class so that I could be there when he went in the room to take pictures. I also made a point to involve the "grandparents" in this and both my mom and Casey's mom sent a card and small gift. Carter was super excited, as were all the kids - lots of screaming!! |

Hey emilywhite maybe your frog can play with my turtle, Half Shell. Just so you know Half Shell has not been eating at all lately. Is it hibernation? Boredom? Lack of excitement? We just don't know. Perhaps if we got them together they would liven up! :) |

A Typical Day in the Neighborhood
Hiding behind the door. Well, well, well. My dearest Emily, I thought I would give you a preview of the delights of raising children. This is known as a tantrum. Gosh I HATE my camera. It really doesn't capture the essense of my child and his engaging personality. He had a rough afternoon because a neighbor was not home for him to play with, he then proceeded to scream and cry all the way back to our house after throwing his scooter. Of course I took the scooter away, but when he was then told he needed to go on time out in the house he LOST ALL CONTROL. Needless to say I was kicked and hit while putting the screaming riff-raff in the time-out spot - downstairs bathroom. He then screamed for about 10 more minutes. After doing his time in time-out he went to the couch where he promptly feel asleep. I highly recommend naps, even when they think they are too big for naps. Aren't you excited????? YES!! And you thought being pregnant was fun. Another delightful shot... |
